What Does the Treatment Involve?
After assessing your facial anatomy and discussing your goals, the practitioner injects small amounts of filler using a fine needle or cannula. Numbing cream can be applied beforehand for comfort. The treatment takes 10-40 minutes depending on the areas being treated.
Results are immediately visible, though mild swelling over the first few days means the final result is seen once this settles. Fillers can be combined with botulinum toxin or laser therapy for comprehensive non-surgical rejuvenation.
Risks & Considerations
- ⚠Redness: Common; typically resolves within 2 days
- ⚠Swelling and bruising: Expected; resolves over a few days
- ⚠Lumpiness: Temporary; can take weeks to resolve fully
- ⚠Vascular occlusion: Extremely rare; if filler enters a blood vessel, prompt treatment with dissolving enzyme is administered

Recovery Overview
